These are the conditions that apply when you book through ReservaPrice. Please read them before you book, because our way of working is different from an ordinary booking site.

We negotiate the best price for you

We track accommodation prices on the net and negotiate a better price for you than the one published openly. That is our commitment: if you find a lower price elsewhere, tell us where you saw it and we will improve it.

What we cannot guarantee

We guarantee the price, but we cannot guarantee that your booking will be accepted. Every booking made through ReservaPrice is a proposal that we send to the accommodation, and the accommodation is free to accept it or turn it down.

We negotiate as hard as we can on your behalf, but there are moments when an accommodation will not accept a proposal. High season, a busy weekend, a local event or simply a property that is already close to full are all reasons why an answer may be no. We cannot guarantee availability either: rooms can be taken elsewhere while your proposal is being reviewed.

If the answer is no, you lose nothing. Nothing is charged to you and you are free to book elsewhere straight away.

The amount held on your card

When you send a booking, the booking amount paid in advance is held temporarily on your card. It is a hold, not a charge: the money stays in your account and is only reserved, in the same way a hotel or a car hire company reserves an amount as a guarantee.

This hold is what makes your proposal serious. It shows the accommodation that there is a real booking behind it, which is precisely why we are able to negotiate a better price for you.

  • If the accommodation accepts, the held amount is charged and your booking is confirmed.
  • If the accommodation turns it down, the hold is released and nothing is charged.
  • If we receive no answer within twenty-four hours, the booking is cancelled on its own and the hold is released.

The rest of the stay is paid directly at the accommodation when you arrive. The amount you will pay there is the one shown to you before you book.

Depending on your bank, a released hold can take a few days to disappear from your statement. That timing is set by your bank, not by us.

Book at least two days ahead

Bookings must be made at least two days before the arrival date. Your proposal has to reach the accommodation and be reviewed by a person, and at short notice there is not enough time to do that properly or to be sure the room is still free.

Your details stay private until the booking is accepted

When we send your proposal, the accommodation sees only the dates, the number of guests and the amount. Your name and your contact details are sent afterwards, once the booking has been accepted.

Changes and cancellations

An accepted booking cannot be cancelled. The price you get is below the published rate, and the accommodation agrees to it for those exact dates on that basis: it is not a flexible rate.

If you cancel or do not turn up, the booking amount paid in advance is not refunded, and the accommodation may claim the full price of the stay.

A change of dates is only possible if the accommodation accepts it, and it is not a right. If something serious happens, write to us and we will talk to the accommodation on your behalf, although we cannot promise an answer in your favour.

If your dates are not yet certain, book when they are.

If anything is unclear, get in touch with us before you book and we will explain it.
